Laborers’ Local 809, based in Steubenville, Ohio, has been proudly serving the community since receiving its Trades Charter on April 10, 1936. Our territorial jurisdiction covers Jefferson, Columbiana, and Harrison counties in Ohio, as well as Brooke and Hancock counties in West Virginia. We are committed to providing highly skilled and experienced craftsmen to signatory Building Trades and Heavy and Highway Contractors, ensuring top-notch quality and expertise in every project we undertake.

As one of the 500 Laborers’ Unions across the United States, Laborers’ Local 809 is part of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA), a powerful collective of 500,000 members. Together, we are dedicated to fighting for better wages, benefits, and safer working conditions for all our members.
